The team I cycled with have been fantastic and the locals I met along the way have been more than welcoming, it has been a really lovely experience, one which has made me want to re-visit. From the beautiful scenery to eating the local cuisine such as frogs, tarantulas, cockroaches, and snails this really has been a trip I will not forget.
This cycle has been one of the best things I have ever done and I have loved every second of it. It was a personal challenge for me and it is for a personal cause. The British Polio Fellowship is needed for people with Post Polio Syndrome, for support services. I have learnt and gained so much through this journey, as well as being completely and utterly exhausted.
Linda has beaten her target and has now raised over £800 for The British Polio Fellowship, to help support those with Polio and Post Polio Syndrome. Linda has finished cycling but it’s not too late to donate – visit Linda’s JustGiving Page to find out how.
