The rural green landscape, scattered with temples, paddy fields, water buffalo and smiling faces of the remote villagers made the extreme temperatures almost a pleasure to cycle in, but the final miles quickly came after a most exhausting day. An ‘acclimatisation’, our Thai guide said, for the 60 miles tomorrow but we do have a lie in until 6.00 am. The food is of course simple, spicy, fresh and served with a happy smile.
An early night, early morning and more to come tomorrow, one day down, lots to go!
After doing 40 miles today Linda only has another 340 miles to go! Linda has currently raised 95 per cent of her targeted £700 for The British Polio Fellowship, help her meet that target by sponsoring or donating.
