It is with great sadness that The British Polio Fellowship announces the death of our National Chairman Bryan Rowley, who passed away on Wednesday 1 June after a short battle with cancer.
Our condolences and sympathy have been passed to Bryan’s wife Anne and the family. Many were aware that Bryan had been living with a terminal illness but all members and friends of The British Polio Fellowship will be greatly saddened by the news.
A member for over 70 years, Bryan worked tirelessly for The British Polio Fellowship and it is a comfort to know Bryan saw the pictures of the plaque identifying the newly named Bryan Rowley meeting room at Central Office and was delighted with it.
Bryan’s funeral service will take place at 12:30 on Friday 17 June at:
Knights End Road
Refreshments will be available afterwards at:
Elme Hall Hotel
69 Elm High Road
