PPS Day aims to raise awareness of PPS with UK with politicians, opinion-formers; the general public; and the medical profession.
As members, you are aware of how important it is to keep up the momentum and remind members of the public that Polio is not dead and Post Polio Syndrome is a serious medical condition to be aware of. As part of this year’s campaign, we are asking members who have a Facebook account to join us in changing their Facebook profile picture frame, to the British Polio Fellowship logo.
The press coverage we have received this year has been amazing. We had the opportunity to showcase our charity on the BBC one Lifeline appeal and the Jeremy Vine show. We need to work together to keep this up.
We value the support we receive, and by changing your Facebook profile frame we can keep on raising awareness. We receive no external funding and rely entirely on the generosity of individuals and organisations; we are extremely grateful for all the support we receive, no matter how small.
