The British Pain Society Patient Liaison Committee Patient Reference Group
Would you like to help the British Pain Society in their work?
Do you like reading and commenting on documents, publications, strategic documents?
Then the British Pain Society’s Patient Liaison Committee Patient Reference Group could be just for you. We are looking for people from all areas of the UK, both people living with pain and their carers. At the moment the Patient Liaison Committee (PLC) of the British Pain Society does the best it can but with the support of more patients we can bring more perspectives!
You will need to have access to email to take part and want to help us make a difference for patients and carers.
Your commitment to us: You will need to give us a few details about yourself to sign up to our ‘Mailchimp’ system and be willing to comment on the things we send you – the frequency will vary depending on what comes into the British Pain Society (you may not hear anything for a few months and then two things may come at once). You are not obliged to comment on everything but please do comment on anything which you wish too.
Details we will collect about you: Name, email, town (but not address), year of birth, ethnic group, patient/carer or both and gender.
Our commitment to you: We will keep your details securely and we won’t share them with anyone else. The demographics are purely for us to be able to report on the spread and make up of our online group.
