Following the national Ballot sent out in the post to all members, The British Polio Fellowship was delighted to unveil its new board of trustees at the Annual General Meeting in Cardiff at the weekend. The event, which was commended as a success all round from the majority of members who attended, also saw the Officer positions ratified.
Taking on the Chair of Trustees position from the outgoing Pam Jones is Bryan Rowley from the Peterborough branch, whilst the new Vice-Chairman will be David Mitchell from the Lincolnshire branch. The incoming Treasurer for this term will be Linda Evers, from Leeds branch.
The table below outlines the new board of trustees as elected by members of the charity across all regions.

Following the AGM, charity CEO Ted Hill MBE thanked the previous Officers and Trustees for their hard work on behalf of the charity and welcomed the new board, wishing them luck for their term. He said: “The charity, in such an important year in its history, recognises the hard work from the board of Trustees, in particular the work put in by our former chair of trustees Pam Jones.”
“The collective hard work that each individual on the board has put in to making this year the success it has been does not go unrecognised and they leave the incoming board a tough act to follow, but one I’m 100% certain they are capable of living up to.”
