As the CEO of national charity The British Polio Fellowship, I was delighted to read reports of MPs across the country may be donating their proposed pay rises to charity.
I hope when making such donations, MPs will consider charities like The British Polio Fellowship, as for many smaller charities such as ourselves, even small donations make a massive difference to the services we provide.
The British Polio Fellowship is committed to supporting and empowering over 120,000 people in the UK living with the late effects of Polio and Post Polio Syndrome (PPS) and we hope those MPs declining a salary increase, will consider us. Donations allow us to assist those living with Polio and PPS providing them and their families with support, advice and guidance.
If you need our help, we are just a phone call or an email away. To find out more about what we do or how we can help you visit www.BritishPolio.org.uk or call us on 0800 043 1935, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
