The Government has opened a public consultation to help inform a proposed 10-year Health Plan for the NHS and build a health service 'fit for the future'. (Change.NHS).
Members of the public, healthcare staff and experts are being asked to share their experiences, views and ideas on the NHS in England.
The consultation looks at three stages of a person's healthcare:
hospital to community
analogue to digital
sickness to prevention.
The Fellowship values the dedication of NHS staff but has acknowledged the service faces some significant challenges. This 10-year plan will be a crucial opportunity to address those issues.
"Polio survivors' input matters and we encourage everyone to share their ideas on how the NHS in England can provide better care when and where it’s needed and encourage a culture that will listen to and take action on patient feedback" commented Kripen Dhrona, CEO of The British Polio Fellowship.
