Indoor Games 2027 – Join us for a weekend of fun, friendship and friendly competition
The British Polio Fellowship’s National Indoor Games return from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 March 2027, bringing together members from across the UK for one of the highlights of the Fellowship calendar.
Whether you’re a returning champion, trying something new or simply looking forward to spending time with fellow members, the Indoor Games offer a welcoming weekend full of activities, entertainment and friendship.
With a choice of competitive games, social events and plenty of opportunities to relax and catch up with friends old and new, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

- Cost: £150 per person full weekend, £75 per person part weekend
Who can attend:
- The National Indoor Games are open to British Polio Fellowship members from across the UK.
- Carers, partners, relatives and supporters are also very welcome to attend, either as competitors, guests or volunteers.
- Some activities are reserved for polio survivors, while others are open to everyone.

What to expect
The National Indoor Games are about much more than competition. Whether you’re taking part in the games or simply coming along to enjoy the weekend, there’s plenty to look forward to.
Throughout the weekend, members compete in a variety of indoor games including Scrabble, Cribbage, Dominoes, Standing Darts, Seated Darts, Kurling and Boccia. Competitions take place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, with everyone encouraged to take part, regardless of experience. Participants select their preferred games when registering, and we’ll do our best to allocate everyone one of their choices.
Away from the competitions, there are lots of opportunities to relax, socialise and enjoy time with fellow members. The weekend includes evening entertainment, our Gala Dinner, fundraising activities, raffles and informal opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
Many members tell us that the friendships they make and the sense of community are what make the Indoor Games so special. Whether you’re returning for another year or joining us for the first time, you’ll be made to feel very welcome.

- Kurling*
- Boccia*
*Kurling and Boccia are reserved for polio survivors. Polio survivors will also receive priority allocation for other events where required.
