APPLICATIONS FOR Energy Support GrantS HAVE NOW CLOSE

The British Polio Fellowship provides grants to support members who historically have not received the governments Winter Fuel Allowance (WFA) due to the age criteria. Unfortunately due to the late changes to the government scheme this year the Fellowship has made the hard decision to once again only provide grants to those who are not eligible by age due to our funding constraints. 

We are currently evaluating how best to deliver to grant next year to best ensure that all polio survivors struggling with cold intolerance this winter get the support they need. In the meantime we will continue to lobby the government along with other organisations to ensure anybody with a long term health condition such Polio/LEOP or PPS should be eligible to receive the WFA.
